The special strength of such a material is due to the special formation of wood fibers in adjacent sheets with a perpendicular arrangement. Thus, coniferous plywood is resistant even to strong mechanical stress.
The wood of coniferous trees is rich in resin, which makes the material moisture resistant and resistant to rotting and fungus infection.
Veneer obtained from coniferous wood, according to experts, has fewer defects. Pine wood is 20% lighter than birch raw material and inferior in strength by the same amount during material bending. The outer layers of veneer at high temperatures begin to release resin, and this is not suitable for all types of construction.
