Fiberboard is a sheet material that is obtained during the pressing of wood fibers with additional additives.

Fibreboard (also known as hardboard) is a sheet material that is obtained by pressing wood fibers with additional additives. Fibers are waste from the woodworking industry. Most often, paraffin or synthetic resins are used as additives. This is done to improve the quality properties of the material. The resulting products fully comply with GOST 4598-86.

There are only two production methods:
- wet (i.e. without the addition of a binder);
- dry (this method requires the introduction of synthetic resin into crushed wood shavings)

Wet material density from 850 to 1100 kg/m, thickness 3.2 mm, format 2745x1220, 2745x1700. Whereas the format of dry-process fiberboard is 2750x1830 mm, with a thickness of 3.2; 6.0; 7.0 mm. In this production, paraffin and liquid phenolic resin are used.

Due to its high quality and excellent performance, fiberboard is used in the furniture industry, in construction. With the help of plates, walls, ceilings, floors are insulated. Wood fiber material is used in mechanical engineering, in the manufacture of containers, etc.

This material has high moisture resistance, environmental friendliness. The reliability and durability of the material is beyond doubt.
Depending on the purpose, the plates are divided into hard and soft.
Solid boards are often used in the construction industry. For example, such material is used as a formwork substance. Solid type fiberboards are also subdivided into ennobled and non-ennobled front surfaces.

You can also buy fiberboard as a soundproofing material when building interior partitions. Often slabs are used as insulation or as additional sound insulation
